My Christmas
Morning or afternoon, I am sitting here looking out my window and checking out all of the beautiful Christmas lights and I have a question for you. Does Christmas feel like Christmas anymore? Don't get me wrong I love to see the kids with smiles on their faces when they finally get to open the presents they've been eyeing under the tree but with everything that's going on in the world now it seems very different. Maybe because I am older and I have children or is it because I feel like the real meaning of Christmas has faded away. As I watch the news it is no longer politically correct to say Merry Christmas as I greet a stranger or is it the debt we put ourselves in to make everyone happy? I Love this time of the year but I just feel like my real joy of just being around family has faded because if I say the wrong thing I might end up in jail. So I just wanted to hear what others feel.
